Learning Objectives
At the completion of this course participants will be able to:
Define and apply key terminology and concepts related to differential diagnosis for physical therapists.
Systematically gather, analyze, and apply information to improve clinical practice through:
database searching
article analysis
knowledge to action strategies
Critically review five physical therapy clinical research articles focused on differential diagnosis
Integrate information from these five research articles into clinical practice for self and colleagues
Analyze the effectiveness of the knowledge-to-action plan and modify as appropriate
Note: This course will provide 10 Direct Access CEU credits. Participants must attend and participate in all sessions and successfully complete all course assignments in order to receive the 10 CEU credits. Participants who miss any sessions and/or do not complete any of the assignments will have their CEU credits adjusted accordingly.
