PT Learning for Practice

Offering transformative continuing education tailored to the unique needs of physical therapists.

Empowering Physical Therapists Through Tailored Continuing Education

Hi! I’m Joe Schreiber, founder of PT Learning for Practice.

Continuing education (CE) shouldn’t be a passive, one-size-fits-all endeavor; instead, it should be a transformative journey tailored to each practitioner’s needs. I started PT Learning For Practice because I believe in redefining CE to align closely with clinical practice, ensuring it’s not just an obligation but a valuable and impactful learning experience. My mission is rooted in addressing the fundamental purpose of CE: to optimize the physical therapy care that each individual child, family, and client receives.

My Values

I have over 35 years of experience as a physical therapist, including over 25 years in providing high quality and innovative learning opportunities for physical therapists at the novice, intermediate, and expert levels.

As a longtime member of a learner-centered community, I’m dedicated to crafting learning opportunities that enhance physical therapy practices. I prioritize diversity, equity, and inclusion in all my endeavors, recognizing the importance of representation and accessibility in education. Moreover, I’m committed to environmental consciousness, integrating climate crisis considerations into every aspect of my operations.

Additionally, I foster a sense of community and uphold a revenue-sharing model, ensuring that course instructors are fairly compensated for their time and expertise.

I am committed to evidence based practice, especially with regard to the learning opportunities offered through PT Learning for Practice.
